We have recently carried out some very intricate works at this site, to enclose asbestos containing walls in the cellar. We had to work very closely with our clients specialist Asbestos contractor on this, as our electricians and plumbers had to come in and isolate all equipment for the asbestos engineers to then unscrew all items from the wall in a controlled environment. Our cladders then had to mark on the walls where they needed holes drilling for the steel struts, which had to be drilled by the asbestos engineers, again in a controlled environment. Once all of the struts were fixed in place, our cladders then cladded the walls in galvanised sheeting. Once the cladding had been installed, our electricians and plumbers could return to site re-instate all equipment. This is a very busy site, with a very busy cellar and closing for even just one day would cause havoc, so all works had to take place through the night.
