We are now f-gas registered!
We are proud to announce that we are f-gas certified. This means that we can legally and safely work on Stationary refrigeration and air conditioning (SRAC) systems (including heat pumps).
This qualification allows us to:
- install new systems
- service and maintain systems
- check for leaks
- recover gases
- decommission and dispose of old systems
- work on refrigerated trucks over 3.5 tonnes
- work on refrigerated trailers made to be towed by trucks or trailers
F-Gas regulations have been implemented in order to contain, prevent and thereby reduce emissions of f-gas fluorinated greenhouse gases.
On 2nd April 2008, the Commission Regulation 303/2008 set out the requirements for an F-Gas company certification scheme.
This F-Gas scheme is specifically for businesses working with F-Gas refrigeration, air-conditioning and heat pump equipment containing or designed to contain fluorinated greenhouse gases.
