On Tuesday the 10th of December, 2019 - our Operations Direct David Dargie MBE supported the Commissioning of Britain’s Biggest Warship, the £3.1 bn, 66,000 ton HMS Prince of Wales in Portsmouth in his voluntary capacity as an Officer with the national youth charity The Sea Cadets.

In the presence of HM Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall. The aircraft carrier, which is taller than Nelsons Column and has a flight deck the size of 3 football pitches, is now officially part of the Royal Navy’s operational fleet.

David, in his role as an 'escort officer' was responsible for cadets who formed part of the welcoming party for the Royal guests and senior members of the British Armed Services and their international partners.

The Sea Cadets is a National youth organisation which supports 15,000 young people between the ages of 10 – 18, across 400 units in the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland by providing a different kind of adventure, launching young people for life today.

David and the cadets had the pleasure of meeting HM Prince Charles, Bear Grylls and the UK Royal Navy Fleet Commander Vice Admiral Jerry Kyd but to name a few.
