On Saturday 22nd of June a group of the Arrow team took part in a charity walk from Bromsgrove to Birmingham along the canal to raise money for a great cause – the Alzheimer’s Society.
We started from our head office in Stoke Prior and finished off in Brindley place at Pitcher and Piano for a well-deserved celebratory drink.
Luckily the weather was perfect! What we had first planned to be an 18 mile walk, turned into just over 21 miles along the canal, through fields and forests, which was a challenge in itself as parts of the route was overgrown with stingers (which one of the walkers unfortunately fell into and the contents of his pockets followed – which gave us all a giggle) , but this certainly wasn’t stopping the team!
It is safe to say that we had used muscles we didn’t even know we had an Sunday was most definitely a chilled day for all of the team!
We are so proud of everyone that took part, what an amazing achievement! We also want to thank all that have donated so far. If you would like to show the team your support, there is still time to donate on the link below.
